TJ Physics 1
TJ Honor Physics 1 is a non-calculus based conceptually and mathematically rigorous first year university preparatory course. It introduces the central concepts of physics, including kinematics, dynamics, the conservation laws (mass, energy, and momentum), universal gravitation, electricity, magnetism, and waves and oscillations.
The level of TJ Honor Physics is the same as other school’s AP physics 1 and 2. The course requires students to develop a solid background in the conceptual basis of physics as well strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. .
